Senator Scott: “Joe Biden Owes the American People an Apology”

WASHINGTON — U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-S.C.) issued the following statement ahead of President Biden’s State of the Union address tonight:

“Joe Biden owes the American people an apology. Under the Biden administration, Americans are experiencing the largest invasion at the southern border in our nation’s history, persistent inflation that is driving the price of groceries to their highest levels in decades, and numerous crises that make the world less safe. Sadly, I expect the president will double down on the failed, far-left policies that have fueled these crises and try to paint a rosy picture of his administration that doesn’t exist in Americans’ day-to-day lives. The first line of his speech should be ‘I’m sorry.’”
