Sen. Scott Surveys Hurricane Helene Damage in the Upstate

GREENVILLE, SC — Today, U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-S.C.) joined members of the South Carolina National Guard to examine the aftermath of Hurricane Helene in South Carolina’s Upstate.

“We witnessed the devastation. Without question, our state needs our support, and we will recover,” said Senator Scott. “God bless South Carolina. God bless every single state devastated by Helene. God bless our recovery. Thank you so much for doing your part.”

After surveying the damage and meeting with members of the National Guard, Senator Scott delivered a message to those affected by the storm, first responders, and all those helping in the recovery efforts, which can be found here.
