Sen. Scott Bashes ICC on Netanyahu Arrest Warrant

WASHINGTON — U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-S.C.), member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, released the following statement in response to the International Criminal Court (ICC) issuing an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: 

“The ICC has become nothing more than an anti-Israel propaganda machine and a useful pawn for Iranian-backed terrorists. The court’s illegitimate targeting of Israel for defending its people from terror should not be tolerated and should be met with immediate and severe sanctions.”

BACKGROUND 
Last night, Senator Scott voted against Senator Bernie Sanders’ (I-Vt.) resolutions aimed at undermining U.S. support of Israel.
