The White House
These self-guided tours are available from 9:30AM to 12:30PM Tuesday through Saturday, excluding Federal holidays or unless otherwise noted. Tour requests must be submitted a minimum of 21 days in advance and no more than 90 days in advance of the requested tour date(s). (Please note that White House tours may be subject to last minute cancellation.)
As we head into the holiday season, please note that the White House will be closed for official events and public tours in preparation for the season from Saturday, November 23, 2024 through Monday, December 2, 2024. The last day of public tours in the 2024 calendar year will take place on Saturday, December 21, 2024.Â
Any reservations requests submitted for January and February 2025 will not be accepted at this time. Additional guidance will be provided in the coming weeks regarding tour reservations for the 2025 calendar year.
U.S. Capitol
The Capitol Visitor Center is open to visitors from 8:30AM to 4:30PM Monday through Saturday. Advanced reservations are required for all staff-led tours.

Library of Congress
The Library of Congress is open Monday through Saturday from 8:30AM to 4:30PM. A one-hour walking tour of the building, highlighting its symbolic art and architecture and the work and history of the Library, are offered daily to pre-reserved groups. Public tours are also available on a first-come, first-served basis.

FEDERAL BUREAU OF ENGRAVING & PRINTING
The Federal Bureau of Engraving and Printing is open Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 3:15PM. Tickets are required to take tours, and are on a first-come, first-served basis.

OTHER SITES
The National Gallery of Art’s West Building
Free, timed-entry passes are available online or via phone at (202) 842-6997. Passes are released each Monday at 10:00 a.m. for the following week.
The United States Holocaust Memorial and Museum
Timed tickets are available on their website.
Washington, D.C., is also home to several other museums that have recently reopened, including the National Building Museum, the National Museum of Women in the Arts, The Phillips Collection, and the Spy Museum. Tickets for these museums are available online for a fee.
