SCOTT VOTES TO KEEP THE GOVERNMENT OPEN

WASHINGTON—U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) released the statement below following the Senate’s vote on the continuing resolution to fund the government through December 11:

“This year has tested our nation in many ways, and a government shutdown would cause more strain on the American people,” said Senator Tim Scott. “I’m pleased the government is funded through the election.”
