Sen. Scott Responds to Aetna Leaving S.C. Healthcare Exchange

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) released the following statement regarding Aetna’s recent announcement that they will be leaving the S.C. healthcare exchange in 2017:

“As Obamacare continues to fail, we have consistently seen a lack of options, rising premiums and high deductibles for American families across the country.Aetna’s looming departure from the healthcare exchange will now leave many South Carolinians with only two choices for healthcare. South Carolinians deserve to have choices when it comes to selecting the best care for their families, and the Affordable Care Act has proven time and time again that it has negatively impacted how Americans are covered.”
