Sen. Scott Statement on Scott Bessent for Treasury Secretary

WASHINGTON — U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-S.C.), member of the Senate Finance Committee and the top Republican on the Senate Banking Committee, issued the following statement on President-elect Trump’s nomination of South Carolina native, Scott Bessent, to serve as U.S. Secretary of the Treasury:
